Method
Prepare the Citrus: Wash the oranges and lime. Squeeze the oranges to get 1 cup of fresh orange juice and squeeze the lime to get 1 tablespoon of juice. Remove any seeds.
Combine the Fruit Juices: Pour the orange juice and pineapple juice into a clean mixing pitcher. Stir gently to combine.
Add Fresh Lime: Add the fresh lime juice and stir gently. Adjust the amount slightly if you prefer a less tangy drink.
Add Honey: Add 1 tablespoon of honey and stir until it is fully incorporated into the fruit mixture.
Taste and Adjust: Taste the mixture before adding ice or sparkling water. Add a little more lime juice for acidity or honey for sweetness if needed.
Prepare the Glasses: Fill two serving glasses with ice cubes. Add an orange or lime slice to the glass if desired.
Add the Fruit Mixture: Pour the prepared orange and pineapple mixture over the ice, leaving some space at the top of each glass.
Add Sparkling Water: Slowly pour chilled sparkling water into each glass. Add it just before serving to preserve the carbonation.
Garnish: Gently stir once or twice, then garnish with fresh mint, orange slices, or lime slices.
Serve: Serve the drink immediately while it is cold and bubbly.
Notes
Use chilled ingredients for the best result. Add sparkling water immediately before serving to preserve carbonation. Adjust honey according to the sweetness of the fruit juices. For a less-sweet drink, reduce the honey and add a little more lime juice. The fruit mixture can be prepared ahead of time, but sparkling water should be added just before serving.
